Apa
Filmmakers Maisha Maene and Leo Nelki lay bare the volatility of eastern Congo in a sensory essay that evokes images of environmental threat, military aggression, and a young generation raised in conflict.
Mother Nature
Disgusted with the already deplorable behavior of the human being towards its natural environment, NURU, a young woman citizen of the planet with an overflowing imagination, decides to paint herself motor oil which she uses as a metaphor to pass the message to the next generation.
Bila Mask
BILA MASK follows walking street vendors in Goma, as they sell their wares in the city’s most densely populated neighborhood during the Covid-19 pandemic.
Regard
With the arts as its starting point, in particular drawing, dance and photography in Goma in the Democratic Republic of Congo, this 5-minute docu-fiction recomposes the colonial gaze in a critical sense.
